    > Dear family, lovely sisters & brothers,
    >
    > We are very happy to be able to invite you to the next Belgian Rainbow Gathering that will be held from april the 3rd till at least may the 3rd on a most beautiful spot in France.
    >
    > What? A Belgian Gathering in France? Yes, we met a very nice Flemish brother who owns a magical piece of land just 15km away from the Belgian border, with big fields with horses, 3 ponds, a beautiful forest, a spring & lots of frogs. There is plenty of space to put up tents and tipis so we can really have a nice coming together there, full of love, sunshine, flowers & frogs.
    >
    > But NO ganja!! Yes, we would very much like this gathering to be marihuana free, we made a consensus about this, so we can all get into the spirit of cleaning ourselves now the spring of 2011 has come. We also decided this because we want to explicitely welcome young children and wise elders to our gathering.
    >
    > We can use the place for free, the only thing the owner asks is that we all sign a document in which we declare taking our own responsability and behaving according to principles of the place, which are exactly the ones we rainbow family love so much (ecology, respect nature, kindness…)
    >
    > The gathering starts in the first weekend of april, new moon being on sunday the 3rd, and would normally end on may the 3rd, but, since we found out that our Dutch brothers & sisters have one week of holidays in the first week of may, the gathering can go on, the owner agrees with this.

    > And, since we will be in France, and we haven’t made contact with the French family yet, it would be nice if someone who has the contacts, does this so we can make it into a Franco-belgian gathering…

    > PLEASE BRING:
    >
    > *Your personal spoon, fork, knife, cup and plate
    > *Your personal camping material: tent or tarp, sleeping bag, sheep skin, extra blankets, it might still be wet and cold…
    > *Camp material: tipi’s, shovel, tarps, rope, kitchen stuff, jerrycans, tools for workshops, drawing and painting material, candles, oil lamp, …
    > *All organic food you can bring
    > *Material for workshops. We already plan to have a workshop building a herb spiral, so feel welcome to bring plants and seeds…
    > *Acoustical musical instruments
    > *Natural medicine and healing stuff
    > *Some money for the magic hat
    > *Your children, your love and your laughter!!!
    >
    > PLEASE LEAVE AT HOME:
    >
    > *Alcohol and drugs, so also the ganja
    > *Electrical and electronical equipment
    > *Chemicals, soap, washing powder
    > *Try to avoid bringing packing material, you take your own garbage back with you.
    > *Your dog: experience shows us that living together with a group of people is hard to combine with dogs: the general hygiene, the open kitchen, the spring that needs to stay pure, and now we also have horses on the place. So, if you really have to take your dog, don’t let him/her run around unguided, clean up the shit, don’t let your dog come into the kitchen, near the spring or near the horses.

    > HOW TO GET THERE:
    >
    > The place is behind the Quartier Montebello in Villers-Cernay in France, look it up on google maps to find the route description by car or hitchhiking:
    > In the village, follow the signs « terrain de football ». From the “quartier Montebello”, look out for the rainbow signs.
    >
    > By public transport: nearest train station in Belgium is Paliseul, from which it is still 20km to the place. You can also take an international train to Sedan in France, from which it’s only 6km. It is always nice to put your bicycle on the train…
    >
    > For the very brave, it is also possible to take a walk or a bike ride from Bouillon, through the `Forêt domaniale de Sedan’ passing by Corbion and La Chapelle, which is about 12km, 3 hours walking.

    >
    > So, spread the news,
    > come and share, rejoice & celebrate,
    > in the love, in the light, in the glory
    >
    > Welcome home!!

    > The scouters
