Early summer gathering in Austria

Dear family, brothers and sisters, beloved friends !

Spring is overwhelming our senses and refreshing our spirit
Wonderful feelings are what we are experiencing and we know the reason for it is LOVE
When everything is blooming , blossoming and growing
And nature shows itself from one of its most beautiful sides…

…then we want to unite…

…as family
…as brothers and sisters
…as musicians
…as dancers
…as kuddlers
…as loving ones and beloved ones
…as fire*as water*as earth*and as air

From Halfmoon, 1st of june to newmoon 22th of june we want to celebrate, sing, dance, kuddle, learn from each other and teach each other, be children, be wise ones, play…
…and love (Fullmoon will be 7th of june)

We want to try to leave behind some of our addictions and we would be happy to celebrate together, if possible , without Marijuana, cigarettes, alcohol and similar addictions.

We also want to make happen as many workshops as possible , so bring your knowledge and share it.

Please bring also kitchen devices, that you don’t need anymore, because some of the rainbow equipment has been lost within the last years, so, if possible, bring big cooking spoons, big pots, pans, tarps, tools, bools and what you think could be useful and you can donate to the rainbow.

For yourself, think of teepees, jurts, instruments, eating bowls, songbooks,…and of course yourself and all your love and strength !

Please leave at home your electronic devices, drugs, meat and furthermore greed, anger and discord.

We are connected with the world, the society and all people so we don’t have to hide ourselves. The place of the gathering is not in the high mountains or in the deep forest, but in a landscape closed to two villages. There is a wonderful and very clean creek with magical bathing places and a nice meadow to circle, dance, play, eat, make music and hold workshops. Because we are not far away from civilization, it is likely to have contact to quite some visitors, which can be a wonderful chance to share our ideas and visions.

Dear Family, brothers & sisters, beloved friends !

Due to some circumstances, there is a NEW PLACE FOR THE AUSTRIAN
SPRINGGATHERING : Freiland near Deutschlandsberg in Styria
(Steiermark/Southern Austria).
…a very magical place in the forest next to a beautiful river (where
the Springgathering was 2005).
The owner is very open but is very important for him that the gathering
definitely ends on 24th of june.

VERY IMPORTANT !!! If you are planning on coming very early, be prepared
to bring everything you need yourself(Food,…), because teepees,
kitchentools, working tools, etc. are coming around 1st of june.

>From Graz: Go to DEUTSCHLANDSBERG (either over B70/B76
or A9 Exit Leibnitz/B74). In the
small city Deutschlandsberg you look for direction
HEBALM (close to the train-station).
On that way you cross FREILAND, a small village. Some
kilometers after the village,
directly before a T-cross and a gasoline-station,
there is a FOREST-PATH on your left
side. (A chapel is next to the cross.) Go there and
follow the the signs of stoff.

From A2 Klagenfurt: Directly before the PACK-tunnel
take Exit 231 and go the road B70
into south, direction Wolfsberg. After several
kilometers turn left into direction
HEBALM. Go through Hebalm, then through St. Oswald and
then look for direction FREILAND,
a street on the right side. After a gasoline-station
you turn right for Freiland.
Directly there, some 20 meters after the cross, a
forest-path is on the right side going
down to the RAINBOW. Follow the signs of stoff.

From all other drections: Try to reach
Deutschlandsberg (~30 km southwest from Graz) anyway
and then go like from Graz.

If you are coming very early, you might not find any signs. Just follow
the way down to the river, then go downstream till you reach a very old
and overgrown bridge.

The Rainbow Family

Dear Family, brothers & sisters, beloved friends!

The gathering is right now living in harmony with each other, the great
spirit, the elements, the cool river, the owner and the hunters in this
area. But the hunters have a problem with dogs. Four years ago three
rainbow dogs were hunting in the forests there and the hunters got angry
and put pressure on the nice owner of the land.

The owner wants us to solve the problem with the dogs. The locals say
that every dog is a potential hunter.

We had a great circle about this issue and we got a solution:

-> Please DON’T bring your dog to the gathering if possible!!!
-> Dog-owners are called dog-companions.
-> There exists Dog-Companion-Circles circling about dog-issues.
-> The Dog-Companion-Circle has a speaker who communicates with the
family about dog-issues.
-> The Dog-Companion-Circle and each member ensures that no dog-hunting
is happening any more.

We are happy to have found this solution and we are looking forward to a
harmonic dog being on the gathering.

We want to inform you that there exists an INTERNATIONAL RAINBOW
CONSENSUS: No dogs on Rainbow Gatherings!!!

Please be aware that we try to be able to gather on this place again and
dogs are the only issue the locals don’t like about Rainbow.

Liebe Familie, Brüder, Schwestern und Freunde

DasGathering läuft wunderbar und in Harmony untereinander, mit dem roßen
Geist, den Elementen, dem kühlen Fluss, dem Besitzer und den Jägern in
der Gegend. Die Jäger haben nur ein Problem mit den Hunden. Vor vier
Jahren haben drei Rainbow-Hunde in den Wäldern der Umgebung schlimm
gewildert und die Jäger haben daraufhin bösen Druck auf den Besitzer
ausgeübt.

Der Besitzer will das wir das ‘Hunde-Problem’ lösen. Man hat die
Ansicht das jeder Hund ein potentieller Jäger ist. (Auch der liebste und
bravste)

Wir hatten einen Kreis über das Thema und wir haben auch eine Lösung:

-> Bring keine Hunde mit wenn irgend möglich!!!
-> Hundebesitzer werden jetzt Hundebegleiter genannt.
-> Es gibt ab nun Hundebegleiter-Kreise wo über Hunde-Anliegen
diskutiert wird.
-> Der Hundebegleiter-Kreis wählt einen Sprecher der mit der Family über
Hunde-Anliegen kommuniziert.
-> Der Hundebegleiter-Kreis garantiert der Familie dass es keine
Hunde-Wilderei gibt.

Wir sind froh über diesen Lösungs-Versuch und freuen uns auf ein
Gathering mit den neuartigen Hundebegleiter-Kreisen.

Es gibt einen internationalen RAINBOW KONSENS: Keine Hunde auf
Gatherings!!!

Wir wollen diesen Platz und die Bewohner der Umgebung mit besten
Gefühlen verlassen und die lieben uns bisher und haben nur mit den
Hunden ein Problem. In Harmonie können wir vielleicht noch öfter dort
Gatherings machen.
