“Hippies” is the story of five friends from Berkeley, California, who travel 500 miles to Eugene, Oregon, to attend a week-long festival dedicated to saving the earth. But when they’re not allowed to check in for Preservation Week, they’re forced to go it alone. They are soon hassled by local law enforcement, SUV drivers, lumberjacks, and fast-food managers. Can they save the earth in seven days? Or will Eugene get the best of them?
