nach einem wunderbaren gathering in portugal bin ich am überlegen ob ich im januar nach brazil gehe.
ist jemand dabei??
und vor allem wie kommt ihr hin???

über ein paar infos und austausch würde ich mich freuen.

also vom 4.1. bis zum 3.2.12 findet das world gathering in brazil statt…
em, joa soweit meine infos ; )
ich glaub das wird n knaller hehe…

wie gesagt kein plan wie hinkommen, flug kostet fast 1000 moneten also gefährlich teuer. da fliegt man glaub über 24 stunden, ich hab keine ahnung wie das mit dem auto wäre.. denk mal unter ner woche oder 2 oder so ist nix zu machen,??

danke für den guten Witz (mit dem Auto nach Brasilien).
Ich hab herzlich gelacht und stell mir gerade vor wie 4 Brüder und Schwestern im schwimmfähigen Auto über den Atlantik kurven auf der Suche nach Brasilien :-).

Also, ich weiß was!!!
Und zwar, wenn man auf der Beneficio Seite ein bischen im Forum rumstöbert, da schreibt der Avi ziemlich ausführlich darüber.

Also, stattfinden tut´s vom 23.1.2012 einen Monat lang und dann soll ein 8-monatiger Karavan durch Südamerika ziehen, bis nach Guatemala.
Der Konsensus fiel wohl etwas schwer, deshalb ein jeweils einmonatiges Treffenin beiden Ländern.

Danach gibt es ein Global Rainbow of all tribes in Mexiko, bei den Maya Ruinen, wo das Ende des Maya Kalenders gefeiert werden soll. Spannend, was?

In Brasilien wird es bei Espirito Santo sein und das ist in der Nähe von Rio. Einfache Flüge gibt´s relativ günstig bei Condor für ca. €500. Man fliegt ca. 14 Stunden.

This is the world rainbow gathering consensus from Argentina:

"The 2012 world rainbow gathering starts in Brazil on new moon January 23rd and
ends in Guatemala on new moon November 13th. It includes:

• A one month gathering in Brazil (joining the national) in the state of
Espirito Santo from new moon January 23rd to new moon February 21st.

• An eight month caravan sweeping north through South and Central America via
many meeting points.

• A one month gathering in Guatemala from new moon October 15th to new moon
November 13th."

The rainy season in Guatemala will be closely observed in October / November
this year. Scouts and local family may change the dates to November / December
if October is judged to be too wet. Scouts will start gathering in Guatemala in
September this year in order to reach an early consensus on this matter.

The Brazil vision council will consense for the 2013 world rainbow gathering,
Guatemala will consense for 2014.

We want to create well-run, healthy and happy gatherings with safe water sources
and strong welcome centres.

BRAZIL

The first part of the 2012 world rainbow gathering will be joined with the
Brazil national gathering, which is already consensed to be held in the state of
Espirito Santo.

We are calling a scout council in Caparao, Espirito Santo, on July 19th 2011.

CARAVAN

The caravan from Brazil to Guatemala will create a rainbow bridge between two
continents. It can take any form imaginable; we can walk, cycle, hitchhike,
drive or spread our wings and fly. We envision the caravan as the centre point
of a multitude of art, ecology and educational projects, including the
performance of shows. Pushing a two-tonne Peace Bell (made from used bullets
from many wars and conflicts) to Guatemala and ringing it in order to declare
peace in towns and villages along the way, is a possibility that could manifest.
Our path will be a process of learning; we can visit sustainable communities to
participate in permaculture projects, to share knowledge and spread seeds, and
to bring all this new energy with us to Guatemala.

We already have several invitations but we would like to share our light with
more people, places and communities in Brazil, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia,
Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras and Guatemala, between February and
October 2012.

We hope for a small armada of RainBoats to help us bypass the impenetrable
Darien Gap between Colombia and Panama; the Rainbow Peace Fleet have already
offered their support and many more boats will hopefully join. We plan to cross
a bridge over the Panama Canal on foot in order to re-establish the
trans-American energy flow broken by the canal; another caravan of northern
eagles (the North American family) could meet our caravan of southern condors in
a magical ceremony right there on the Puente de las Americas!

Whatever our intentions, projects and means of transport may be, we want a few
vehicles to be the moving headquarters and heartquarters of the caravan,
carrying pots and pans and communal tents, keeping magic hat and always
providing a central camp with meals for all. We will create improvised
mini-rainbow gatherings in various meeting points along the way, at least every
full moon.

The first caravan vision council will be held at the Espirito Santo gathering
approximately one week before full moon. Come and shape the caravan with your
ideas!

GUATEMALA

Part of the vision for the one month Guatemala gathering is to create a more
sustainable rainbow. At previous gatherings we have been almost entirely
dependent on the use of magic hat money as a means of exchange for food from
mostly unsustainable sources. It is important that rainbow stays true to its
original idea of living in nature but "leaving no trace", but it could be
possible to use an adjacent piece of land for a bit of "rainbow gardening".
Scouts and local family in Guatemala are intending to plant seeds before the
rainy season so that we can harvest during the gathering and therefore make the
rainbow more sustainable and less dependent on the monetary system.

Taken one step further, this could be the beginning of the first Peace Village,
a permanent home for our family! We could buy the land with the intention of
freeing it from ownership. The rainbow family is everyone; land belonging to the
rainbow family therefore belongs to everyone and no one. We would create a free
piece of land which would sustainably support a group of free people living
communally in peace with Mother Earth. The scouts will become the first
caretakers of this land.

We could create an open and transparent legal entity like a company, charity /
NGO or trust that can hold money and land on behalf of the whole family, then
raise an online magic hat in order to purchase the land.

The Peace Village is connected to but different from the rainbow gathering; they
will co-exist side by side and feed each other energy but remain separate
entities.
Local family, including Mayans and established communities, are already working
in support of this vision.

The first scout council in Guatemala is being planned for September 21st 2011
(unconfirmed).

PALENQUE

>From Guatemala, we are all invited across the Mexican border to "the global
rainbow gathering of the tribes" in Palenque from December 1st to December 31st
in order to celebrate the end of the Mayan calendar. Another part of the family
is dedicated to focalising this event.

Hey Ho,
auch ich werde nach Brasilien 😀 und zwar schon bald- freue mich auf ein schönes Gathering dort!
Es soll eine Schiffsverbindung geben und zwar von den Cap Verden aus- dahin kommt man angeblich gut von den Kanaren Teneriffa)- ich wollte auch erst diesen Weg nehmen- habe aber bisher dazu noch nichts Näheres rausfinden können- die Infos sind in spanisch 😉

Ich kann leider nich im Januar nach Brasilien um mit der Karawane zu ziehen. Falls jemand von euch ab Brasilien dabei ist würd ich mich über e-mails von dort freuen damit ich Mitte des Jahres evtl. dazustoßen kann!!!Vielleicht ergibt sich da ja was um einen Ort auszumachen…

Ich bin zur Zeit gerade auf den Kanarischen Inseln auf La Gomera und habe ebenfalls gehoert, dass man von Teneriffa direkt nach Brasilien schippen kann, kostet ca. 400 Euro und geht 5 Tage. Ich werde dies noch genauer in einem Reisebuero abklaeren und sae Bescheid, wenn ich mehr weiss…. Waere schoen zusammen ans Rainbow zu gehen! Halt doch auch du mich auf dem laufenden, wenn du mehr herausfindest! [email protected] very important!!!!!!!
