W.I.S.E. Isles European Rainbow Gathering 2013

As a result of new moon falling on Lamas next year, the traditional time for the European gathering, the vision council in Slovakia has formally consented on two summer gatherings next year. One in Helas (Greece), the other in Cymru (Wales) in the W.I.S.E (Wales, Ireland, Scotland, England) islands. The gathering in Helas is from the 6th of July to the 6th of August. The gathering in Cymru is from the 6th of August to the 6th of September. There was also a recommendation from the vision council to gather in the Central Alpine area of Europe in the summer of 2014. The idea behind visioning two years ahead is to allow the concept of grow camp to allow the permaculture principle of observation and orientation before planting and also to allow caravans to prepare and to travel at a slower pace, integrating with eco villages and inspiring gatherings on its route, undermining concepts of national identity as it travels between borders
