Meinereiner würde wohl u.U. auch dahin kommen und ich sehe das so, dass einfach angefangen werden müsste zu scouten. Wäre ja mal interessant, aus welcher Quelle Gabriel (-dear greetings!) erfahren hat, dass das Gathering diesmal auf Gran Can statt finden soll; damit wäre es für Interessierte leichter, einen Konsens zu finden, dass DORT gescoutet werden soll.

Soeben noch aus meinen emails erfahren: der Konsens für Gran Can scheint beim letzten Gathering gefunden worden zu sein… allerdings sagteeine gewisse Maria Elke Schultz am 12.01., sie sei gerade mit ca. 100 Personen an einem guten Platz auf La Gomera, der schon vom letzen Jahr bekannt sei…”Strand mit Wasser und Dorfbewohner(Locals) sind dafür”.
Meine Meinung: wenn das so eine Eigeninitiative annimmt, soll man es doch geschehen lassen! Zumindest ist dieser Strand schon eine gute Basis um sich zu treffen!

auf dem la palma rainbow letztes jahr war die vision fuer gran canaria und eine sister paula hat sich f?r das scouting wohl erkláert…
bisher kam aber keine einladung oder irgendeine info das jemand scoutet auf gran canaria…
auf la gomera sind wir gerade ca 1oo rainbows – aber nicht an einem bestimmten strand, sondern ?berall auf der insel verteilt – es gibt aber die m?glichkeit das treffen wieder an einem sch?nen strand hier zu machen, wo schon einmal ein treffen war und wir vom dorf her sehr willkommen sind… ich habe mit vielen nun gesprochen die tage und die stimmung ist sehr fuer la gomera…
doch nachdem die vision f?r gran canaria war m?gen wir dies nat?rlich respektieren… nur wenn die tage keine einladung kommt wirds knapp… und wir k?nnten es auf la gomera machen…

Liebe Familie,
nachdem nun doch noch so kurzfristig ein Platz auf Gran Canaria gefunden wurde haben wir einen Talkingcircle auf La Gomera einberufen. Wir möchten die Vision für Gran Canaria respektieren und laden nun für März nach La Gomera ein. Einladung folgt. Termin: 4.3 bis 3.4 😉
Tut uns leid für die Konfusion! Wir wollten eben sicher gehen das es stattfindet. Im Moment sind viele Rainbows hier, die gar nicht nach Gran Canaria fahren mögen… und die nun traurig sind… doch am Strand bei Playa Santiago, am Playa de Chinquarime können wir uns gut treffen, jedoch kein Rainbow veranstalten, da dort nicht nur Rainbows vor Ort sind und einige das nicht möchten. Doch ist es ein sehr offener, grosser und sehr schöner Platz wo sich jeder entfalten kann.

It will be held in the Gran Canaria Island, in the possibly purest spot of the island, a big
“barranco” called guguy or as it is most commonly known guy-guy. The place has an almost
unlimited source of the purest mountain water, for both drinking and cooking as well as for
shower. There is a paradisiacal beach at 2 min walk from the main site.

The “owner” of the land is a beautiful soul named Antonio (don Antonio), whom together with
Eufemio is the only permanent inhabitant of the place. He was born there and his family has
been around the place for more than 50 years. He was delighted with the idea as I presented
it as an opportunity to heal the place. The currents of the ocean have dropped a huge amount
of firewood which is lying everywhere on the beach, unfortunately as well as some plastic
bottles and debris which can be easily cleaned by members of the family.

There is two ways to reach the place:

1- If you take the road to the south of the island, there’s a village called Mogan, from
there you take the road to “Aldea de san Nicolas” and halfway this road you’ll find the
detour to Tasartico. At the entrance of the road to Tasartico there’s a lovely side-of-the-
road fresh juice and coffee place, run by Fran, who will give you further explanations of
how to reach the place. Basically you should reach the village, cross it and you’ll find a
dust trail that will lead you to the entrance of the “camino real” (pedestrian path) that
ends up in the precise spot of the rainbow g; this entrance is approximately halfway this
dust trail, a mere two to three kilometers from the village. Cars should be parked alongside
the trail, yet as there’s not a proper parking place, please try to spread as this trail is
busy sometimes. Then comes a good walk, approximately an hour and a half on a good step; the
only house you’ll find, after climbing up the mountain and descent to the beach is
Antonio’s. He will inform you of the available places for camping as well as water points or
any other details. He is willing to support the whole thing so if there are families with
children or any special needs his house is open (as much as his heart is!!)

2- The other possible way, for those of you carrying material or big amounts of food or
whatever is by boat. You should continue on the road from Mogan to Aldea de San Nicolas to
the end and then continue on to the port, where you can speak with the fishermen to arrange
a boat trip to Guguy beach. I will gather more information on the issue in the next days,
after speaking directly with them.
